TESTIMONIALS
I have been using
MediDox for several years now. I can't tell you how many
times a week I will use the instant access to the records
from my desk. Some specialist will call and say they are
seeing Mr. X and Mr. X can't remember the name of the drug
name we started last week.
In the old days, I would have to ask
my nurse to find the chart, get it, find the note within
it, etc. Now, I just type the first three letters of the
last name onto my screen and a patient list appears. I
chose the patient from the list and hit the last chart
button and the last note appears. I can answer the question
on the phone or fax a copy the note immediately!
I can also search the database for key
words to generate a list of patients with a particular
problem to whom we may be sending a letter, or to invite
their participation in a research protocol.
I wouldn't want to practice medicine
without MediDox.

Most people come at the clinical documentation
problem from the standpoint of the administrator rather
than from the standpoint of the clinician. The administrator
wants to keep track of the work in the office.
MediDox looks at documenting from the
viewpoint of the clinician. MediDox is a powerful system
designed to create a comprehensive medical chart in the
least time possible. With MediDox, the physician is easily
able to document the nuances of each patient visit. As
a result the physician can recognize his patient when
he reads the chart.

MediDox is pretty slick. I see that when
I get used to the system, I will turn out almost twice
as much work. The reports go out instantaneously so no
one ever interrupts you to get a report or has the films
pulled for you to go over a second or third time because
the report is still not transcribed.
The system is set up so that when a radiology
report is electronically signed, there is an immediate
printout in the radiology department for the film jacket,
another for the medical records department, a copy to
the nursing station if the patient is in the hospital,
a copy to the ER if the patient is there, and copies to
the referring docs. No one has to deliver a thing. The
docs in the community are absolutely thrilled with it.
It has certainly brought in the business.

MediDox customer service is outstanding.
The software is steady and reliable and the throughput
to our physician-customers is impressive. Our medical
community has definitely noticed the improvement in our
response time. As a result, we have kept customers that
we otherwise might have lost.
